P4T operates through four integrated thematic areas: Education for Transformation, Health and Well-being, Livelihoods and Empowerment, and Community-Based Protection & Advocacy, utilising a refugee-led, Human-Centred Design approach.
We operate Nursery, Primary, and Secondary schools, deploying a Holistic Education Model with tailored activities for Play-Based-Learning, Project-Based-Learning, Creativity and Critical Thinking (using Board Games), and Talent Development at low cost to about 1000 children, with scholarships available for orphans and vulnerable children.
Our health programs deliver community health education, mental health services, and medical outreach to more than 5000 people annually.
Livelihood initiatives train youth and women in vocational skills such as tailoring, carpentry, and entrepreneurship, equipping them with the tools to generate income.

Community-Based-Protection and Advocacy services support child welfare, survivors of gender-based violence, and emergency relief for the most vulnerable households.
Learn More About Protection
Kasonga Trading Centre, Kyangwali Refugee Settlement, Kikuube District, Uganda. P.O. Box 294, Hoima, Uganda
Kyangwali hosts more than 150,000 refugees and asylum seekers, making it one of Uganda's largest refugee settlements. Uganda hosts 1.94 million refugees, the largest refugee population in Africa.
Our staff lived in these same settlements, fled the same conflicts, and rebuilt their lives from nothing. We don't study refugee problems in reports; we lived them. We don't design programmes in distant offices; we create solutions alongside our n eighbours who face these challenges daily. This isn't charity from outsiders; it's community members empowering their own community, ensuring every programme reflects real needs, respects local knowledge, and builds lasting self-reliance.
